DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING COURSE

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course (DSD) is a fantastic way to get your first diving experience. We use a calm sheltered bay for our DSD dives. You can discover what scuba diving is like before you invest in training. Is it difficult?, am I able for it? Would I enjoy it?. Taking part in a DSD will answer all these questions for you and more.

Prerequisites:

You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire which will determine your medical fitness to dive. You must be a minimum of 10 years old.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving allows you to:

Dive to 6 meters accompanied by a dive professional. It allows you to have your first glimpse of the beautiful sights in the calm, warm and clear Mediterranean waters. 

You dive with Discover Scuba Diving will count towards the dive requirement in your Open Water training. You can also enjoy a follow up dive without the skills section 

What will I learn?

You will learn the basic principles of scuba diving. Learn the name and purpose of the equipment, learn how to breathe underwater, to communicate underwater and to perform basic but essential scuba skills before enjoying your first scuba swim. 

Time Commitment:

PADI e-Learning -20-30 minutes.

Entire Course: 3-4 hours.

The sheltered bay, Greenbay often gifts us with Mediterranean Turtle sightings. We can enjoy dozens and dozens of fish swimming around us at fish rock and spot the 2nd Century artifacts which remain clearly visible today. You might even see some Barracuda.......
