ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

Progress your scuba skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. Master buoyancy and learn underwater navigation in addition to three specialities of your choice.

Enjoy diving to a greater depth and enjoy the new sights and sea life found  up to a depth of 30 meters. Buoyancy control and navigation are mandatory however you can choose three specialities of your choice to get a taste of options for further training.  

Prerequisites: 

Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification).  You must be a minimum of 12 years old and achieve the necessary medical clearance. 

PADI Advanced Open Water qualification allows you to:

Dive to a maximum depth of 30 Meters. Explore the sea to new depths and enjoy access to a greater number of dive sites and the opportunity to try a number of specialities of interest to you. This course also allows you to build on your competence and confidence in both your scuba diving skills and your ability to identify and address problems at an early stage.

What will I learn?

You will learn the necessary skills to allow you to dive safely to greater depths. You will learn greater buoyancy control and how to navigate by compass underwater. you will enjoy three specialities of your choice. You will build on your existing knowledge regarding your equipment, air management and safety measures.

PADI eLearning: 6-8 hours. 

Entire course: 2-3 days.
