PADI ENRICHED AIR (Nitrox) DIVER

 

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives, shorter surface intervals and less nitrogen loading. 

 

Prerequisites: 

PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification). You must be a minimum of twelve years of age and achieve the necessary medical clearance.

 

PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver qualification allows you to:

Dive with nitrox where available. It also allows you to stay at depth for longer while reducing nitrogen loading. You can enjoy shorter surface intervals.

 

What will I learn?

You will learn the benefits and advantages of diving with nitrox. You will learn how use an oxygen air analyzer to analyze your gas mix and learn to set your dive computer in accordance with your mix.

 

Time commitment:

PADI eLearning: 2-4 hours

Entire course: 1-2 days.

 

This is a dive less course and therefore can easily be achieved in one day. Simply complete your e-learning and join your instructor for some practical learning and enjoy the benefits of nitrox diving.
